My Story
Hi, my name is Carmen Tellez, and I joined Scentsy in May of 2009. I joined Scentsy because I wanted my classroom and house to smell great, AND I wanted a little extra spending money.
So I worked my business as a hobby, not really realizing the true potential, and in 2013 my whole life was shattered! I lost my only son, he was only 22. I struggled to get back into everything, my personal life, even just waking up in the morning, and especially my Scentsy life.
But in 2016, I was SAVED! I needed a purpose in life, and found it in Scentsy! I realized the true potential and money I could earn with Scentsy so I started working my business and I slowly came out of my depression.
Scentsy allowed me to give up my full-time teaching job, I knew that I could supplement my retirement pension (which is not a lot) with my Scentsy Commission.
Scentsy has opened so many doors for me, I have earned Incentive trips, and have attended several Scentsy Family Reunions (Conferences) in amazing cities like Nashville, Las Vegas, and Anaheim, Austin, Kansas City, Nashville, to name a few.
But the biggest blessing I have received with this company is being a part of a big family. I have made so many amazing friends I now call Scentsy Sisters. Scentsy is a family based business with awesome core values and truly CARES about their customers and their employees. And one thing you can always count on is support and help from one another! I thank GOD every day for this blessing.
